Founded in 1912, Sertoma Anderson IN has made tremendous impact thanks to the help of members and volunteers in the Madison County community. 2022 Grant Recipient Awarded to
A Heart for Kids
This contribution will go to support reading comprehension and one on one tutoring for our local youth in the Madison County area. They desire to provide support to children and their families as well as teachers and schools. In the 2021-2022 school year they served 75 children. They had 40 volunteers and hired 45 college students to serve as tutors/mentors. They currently have 54 volunteers between their 3 locations.
SERTOMA ANDERSON IN: DEDICATION AND SERVICE WITH PROVEN IMPACT
Club members attend the yearly Mayor's Charity Ball event. Funds raised from this event are given back to the Anderson School Corporation in the form of teacher grants. Applications are submitted to the Mayor and reviewed.
